Every Beach wedding at Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa is a new experience. part 1

Ann Marie & Joseph O’Brien Got married on April 11th 2008 on the beach at Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa

From a photographer’s eye.

For the last few months there’s been a beach wedding nearly every weekend. Every time it’s a new experience.  From the moment you arrive, you inspect the setup where the ceremony will take place. then you check with the wedding coordinator  for any specific  information or detail you have to be aware of.  Then you get in contact with the groom and inform him that besides their photographer, you will be taking pictures on behalf of the resort.

Then you start taking pictures of the decorated tables  and the ornaments on the tables, and also take pictures of the cake on the the cake table.

As the moment arrives,  the guests  proceed to the beach area where the wedding  will take place, you will be  there already taking pictures as the guests take their seats.  Most of the time the groom (husband to be) is standing under an arch with his back towards the guests facing the ocean.  It has been said that the groom should not watch his bride untill she arrives at the altar / arch). The groom is accompanied by his best man.  You take a  picture of the groom, which most of the time is very nervous at the moment.

Then the beautiful bride arrives on the beach.  She walks down the aisle very elegant wedding dress.
The Pastor or minister present conducts the beach ceremony, which includes the blessing of the rings,  exchange of vows,  sealing  the ceremony with a nice and long kiss.

The wedding coordinator indicate the newly weds,  where they should sign their eternal contract.

After the ceremonies  the photographer  guides all present towards the beach  for the photo shoot. The options are so many that you could use allot of poses without it being boring. The best pictures of the newly weds are taken  at dusk.  The sky is the limit at that time.    That’s the time a photographer uses his or her imagination and create the best pictures.

Getting married on the beach at Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa

The scenery of a wedding on the Beach at Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa the ideal picture

It’s quite an experience getting married on the beach at Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa. It’s not only the widest beach on the island but it’s most relaxing and it’s located at one of the most unique sites on Aruba. It’s located at a point call Punta Brabo ( rough point). This is where two currents of the sea meet each other.

The Staff of Manchebo together with the wedding coordinator decorate the beach with the desired ornaments and setting. The sky is the limit whether you desire romantic guitar music or a tropical steel pan playing romantic songs as well as the wedding march, if you like something more moving, it’s absolutely no problem. While your guest arrive the bartenders at the Pega Pega Cafe & Beach Bar provide them with the cocktail of the day or a simple smoothie.

When the wedding coordinator gives the signal the guest proceed to the beach and are seated on the nicely decorated chairs. The groom arrives and as he faces the beach the brides maid(s) and best men arrive just before the moment of truth. After a short silence the the wedding march starts playing indicating that the bride is making her moves towards her husband to be.

The Minister conducts a nice ceremony, blessing the rings and having the couple exchange vows and promising their eternal love to each other.

After the signing of the official documentation the newly weds and their friends and family take a walk to the shoreline and the photographer arranges the photo shoots. First all present, then with the family of the bride, them groom and finally the most romantic pictures the newly weds will every have. The romantic walk on the beach, the eternal kiss, and all that while the sun sets.

Meanwhile the party has started at the pavilion.
