Lovely Mother’s Day Brunch for Kibrahacha Aruba at Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa
Every year Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa invites the elderly men and women of Kibrahacha Aruba for a complimentary delicious brunch for Mother’s Day. This year the brunch was organized on Friday the 7th of May and again it was a great success!
Just over two hundred men and women enjoyed the nice food prepared by chef George Hoek, the authentic Aruban music and the service of Blanco and his team. The guests were welcomed with a coffee and homemade cake in the pavilion were the tables were beautifully set up and the view overlooking Eagle Beach amazing.
Both the guests as well as the volunteering employees of Manchebo had a lovely day!

Christmas Celebration at Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa
On December 2nd, the staff of Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa celebrated Christmas together at French Steakhouse! Executive chef George Hoek and his tremendous team, Chef Ronald Daal, Chef Willy Sarmiento and Alex Dania, along with the rest of the kitchen crew, prepared an outstanding brunch buffet for all of us to enjoy.
At 1:30 p.m., Santa Claus invited everyone to come to the party and at 2:00 p.m. we were enjoying the delicious food accompanied by beautiful live Christmas music of Sharon Rose and Eddy Samson.
During the dessert, it was time to put some of our employees in the spotlight for their outstanding performance. The first award was given to the maintenance boys for being the best department for 2009. The award for Manager of the Year went to our Reservation Manager, Vivian Frank; Chef Ronald Daal received the Lifetime Achievement Award. The last awards were handed out to the top 3 best performed employees, namely: third place went to Harold Rasmijn of the French Steakhouse for his eagerness and extreme hospitality towards our guests. The second place was for the always friendly and cheerful Anne Marie ‘Jean’ Cadet of the housekeeping department. Our guests just love Jean! The first place went to the hardworking Kevin Barnett of the garden department for keeping our wide stretch of beach so beautiful and for his helpfulness towards his colleagues and the guests of Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa.
This successful afternoon ended with a show of Grupo di Betico whose swinging music pulled everyone on the dance floor.
The management of Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa would like to thank all the employees once again for their hard work, dedication and loyalty to our intimate resort!

Celebrate Thanksgiving with your friends and family at French Steakhouse!
The first recorded Thanksgiving ceremony took place on September 8, 1565. Now 444 years later, Thanksgiving Day is still celebrated every year on the fourth Thursday in November.
Originally, Thanksgiving was celebrated to give thanks to God and the Native Americans for helping the pilgrims survive the brutal winter. This tradition of giving thanks to God is continued today by gathering with family or friends for a holiday feast.
