Professional Yoga instructor Monika Ramos Tapia will be hosting again this Yoga Vacation Week. She has taught Yoga in various locations such as the Nosara Yoga Institute in Nosara, Costa Rica and as a Faculty member at the highly recognized Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, New York and in beautiful Bellagio, Lake Como in Italy.
She has a teaching style that is eclectic, inspirational and compassionate. Monika incorporates both physical and spiritual aspects to her classes. She encourages self awareness and self observation both on and off the mat, allowing for compassion to cultivate with self and others. Her teachers include Amba and Don Stapleton PhD, Glenn Black, Jill Miller and Monika is also trained in Reiki and Vortex Healing® as well as Pranassage™ and Thai massage.

To all Jazz and Latin music lovers!
The 4th edition of the Caribbean Sea Jazz Festival Aruba will take place on October 8 and 9, 2010.
This Festival is organized -once again- to provide the people of Aruba and its visitors a high quality music event with the best possible line-up. Thirty-two talented musicians, united in the Dutch Big Band Swing Design, will be performing their swinging music at the upcoming Aruba Sea Jazz Festival. With tons of successes at international festivals beneath their belt, this Big Band will surely be one of the highlights of the much-anticipated event. Also keyboardist, recording artist and “Best New Jazz Artist” nominee Lao Tizer, the young, talented and skillful emerging guitarist Serghio Jansen and more regional and national artists will be performing at this one-of-its-kind Festival on Aruba!

Honoring the National Day of the Philippines!
Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa celebrated the 112th Independence Day of the Philippines.
At 12:00 p.m. we could all enjoy a nice presentation about the lovely country where 6 of our colleagues come from.
They did a splended job with the lunch, we had a delicious traditional meal! From papaya soup, roasted pork, spring rolls to melon juice, and much more - all specially prepared for us!
We would like to thank our colleagues from the Philippines: Rolly, Willy, June, Juanito and Daniel for this fantastic lunch and presentation! We all enjoyed very much!!

Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa wins the 2nd Group Prize!
Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa won the 2nd Group Prize of the Recycling Art Competition of AHATA 2010 with the art piece:
‘Vase with Flowers’ created by Tara from the Housekeeping Department. The art piece was made out of paper, broom straw, paste and cardboard.
