Giorgio's Ristorante Italiano delivers authentic Italian flavors

Italian food lovers needn’t walk far. Giorgio’s Ristorante Italiano is located within walking distance of
all low-rise resorts, right on Eagle Beach, at the charming Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa.
The Manchebo’s Executive Chef George Hoek concocted an irresistible menu of Italian classic specialties
with a contemporary feel, served al fresco, on the garden terrace or around the tropical pool.
From Anti Pasti to Insalata, Zuppa to Pesce, the menu welcomes diners with familiar recipes, such as Bruschetta di Carciofi, Calamari Fritti, Melanzane All’Agro Dolce, Minestrone, Salmone Affogaro in Bianco and the Pescatore, starring the bounty of the Sea, which distinctly demonstrates the talents of Executive Chef George Hoek, a master of flavorful sauces, delicious combinations and delightful presentations.
At the heart of the menu, the Pasta section, delivers a nice variety to be shared by two or enjoyed
unabashedly solo - go ahead, you only live once - with Fettuccini Alfredo, Penne All’Arrabiatta and
Tortellini ala Gorgonzola, just to name a few.
Pizza appears on Giorgio’s menu for those craving thin crusts and ample toppings, with a selection of
classic pies made to order and served with a genuine Italian accent. Angelo, the Maitre D is
Italian, naturally.
Giorgio’s Piatti Principali feature a hit parade of dishes, which make it very difficult to decide between
Cotoleta alla Parmigiana, Petto di Pollo Saltimbocca and Costolette D’Angelo alla Cacciatore. Giorgio’s
Osso Bucco will have you sighing with great satisfaction as you heap the braised veal shanks flavored with
herbs and a red wine reduction, escorted by potato gnocchi, onto your fork and get lost in the symphonic,
robust flavors.
Chef George says General Manager Edgar Roelofs, is an incredibly valuable addition to our team as his food
is divine, and his desserts deserve a special article on their own!
