april 2009 this is the gem of the low rise hotels. the best beach in aruba,with great food ,very friendly staff,a loction with a casino, pizza, and dunking donuts within a block. what more would you want??? it is, however, a resort mainly for adult couples... lots of kids??? go to the high - rises.. want a superb quiet vacation... come here !!!

I just came back from a wonderful week at this resort. The staff were extremely friendly and catered to my every need. The room was nice and well equipped with fridge, microwave and big flat screen TV. It was quiet and relaxing. The beack is gorgeous and there is an attendant always ready to provide you with a chaise wherever you'd like it on the beach. The huts are situated perfectly so you're never right on top of another guest. The restaurants vary enough so you should always find something you like. This was a last minute vacation, but a first rate choice.

My husband and I celebrated our 20 year wedding anniversary with a week long stay at Manchebo Beach Resort and Spa. We found the staff to be helpful, friendly and attentive.
The beach was beautiful... just like the photos you see. We rented a Jeep and explored a lot of the island, which was amazing! There were surprises around every bend in the road. I would highly recommend renting a vehicle while vacationing on Aruba. There are so many things to see in spite of the island being relatively small in area. It was nice to come back to a nice, clean room after bouncing around in a dusty Jeep! The resort pool was never crowded, which was also a nice way to end the day.
Everything you might need but may have forgotten to pack is easily found in the lobby gift shop. The prices weren't exorbitant, either. We even did some "fun shopping" in the gift shop, since there were some great items to bring home. (I can't wait to try the coconut curry spice package I bought! And my son really liked the Aruban flag I brought home for him.) Lena, who works in the shop, was a pleasure to chat with.
We would most definitely stay at the Manchebo again should we visit Aruba in the future. It was welcoming and we felt at home there.

WOW! The best vacation spot. If relaxation is in your plans, your resort is the place to do it. Staff top notch, first but by no means last visit to you. Many times visitor to Aruba but a high rise visitor no longer. Great beach and beach staff!

We stayed at Mancebo for the 3rd time and it gets better every time. We love the small time feel of the hotel. The people are soooo friendly and the beach is so nice. We ate at the steakhouse and the Italian restaurant. Both very good. Rooms are always very clean and roomy. We'll be back next year.

Short and sweet. Another wonderful stay at Manchebo for 9 days for 3 straight years and looking forward to at least 40 more!
Things do not get any better than this folks. I would really like to keep it a secret and not post here but cannot help myself.
I always look forward to coming home from trips but this is one of the few that makes me cry when we leave. I am very thankful and look forward to another healthy year so we can do it again next Feb.

We spent 6 nights from 1/17/2009-1/23/2009 at Manchebo. If you are looking for peace and quiet away from a crowded high-rise style vacation, then this is where to go. The beach is truly magnificent, quiet with lots of space between guests.Clean refurbished rooms and a wonderful staff as well. Once you go you will know.

My husband I stayed here last May 2008. It was our first time here at this hotel and 7th time to the island. We brought our son for the first time and he compared it ot a Corona commercial. Manchebo is a beautiful resort. The biggest and best beach on the island. We would recommend it to anyone. We will be back.
