The new Ike’s Bistro Lounge features reclaimed wood, sea grass, rattan and bent bamboo furnishings in mellow browns, tans and ivory. A timeless, elegant, yet completely casual environment has been created to showcase the natural beauty of Aruba, its turquoise ocean and clear blue sky.Thick hand woven sisal rugs complement each sitting area creating the perfect island vibe. The center of the new Ike’s bar area features 4 custom hanging driftwood light fixtures. The attention to detail and these one-of-a-kind touches reflect the heart and soul of the resort.

With seating on the garden terrace or around the tropical pool, the ambiance at Ike’s Bistro is thoroughly enchanting. While Mediterranean at heart, the menu is inspired by Caribbean ingredients and an avant garde fusion theme. Young Chef Ever de Pena creates beautifully presented, delicious dishes with subtle and complex flavors.
Herb-crusted scallops come alive with avocado puree, red pepper cilantro salsa and coconut foam. Green gazpacho is made with cucumber and honeydew melon, basil, organic sea salt, olive oil and herb croutons. Sweet flavors enliven seafood; the pan-seared seabass is served with quinoa salad and yoghurt pomegranate salsa; the pan-fried ahi tuna is accompanied by ginger fruit salsa; and the pan-seared salmon with grapefruit and mango salsa. The Portobello mushroom ravioli and homemade fettuccini with fresh pesto will delight pasta lovers. The well-rounded menu features a solid repertoire of Catch of the day, Tuna, Seabass, Shrimp & Mussels, Filet Mignon, Beef Medallions, and Lamb. Guests may also opt for the tasting menu of four-course chef tasting menu.
Those with room for dessert will swoon at the Chocolate temptation, a three-way treat; the Orange catalana; and the Passion fruit parfait and berries.
