The Fort Zoutman Historical Museum

July 01, 2019

Today, it is the oldest building on the island. In 1868 the stately Willem III Tower was added, first as a lighthouse, then, starting in 1963, as a clock tower. During your visit, not only will you marvel at the stunning architecture of the tower, but you’ll also be treated to the fun and informative narrative of Aruba’s history that the museum chronicles. The Fort Zoutman Historical Museum is open Monday from 9 A.M. – 6 P.M., Tuesday from 9 A.M. – 5 P.M., Wednesday through Saturday from 9 A.M. – 6 P.M., and Saturday from 10 A.M. – 2 P.M. For an extra special treat, check out the Welcome Party held every Tuesday evening at the museum from 6 – 8:30 P.M.

Address: Zoutmanstraat 6, Oranjestad, Aruba
